pLaYinG: Can't fight the moonlight
this morning, i had a stomach ache, i kept telling ppl that i want to shit. it's so terrible and irritating. i think it's the 2 bowls of laksa i had yesterday. but i DON"T regret it. =D cuz the laksa is like the best in singapore!! sungai road's laksa. yum...
after my duty(late coming), i had a physic lesson. mr lee was there to inspect mr sin. lee as in mr marcel lee. i think mr sin is a very nice teacher, he prepares his lesson very well. the powerpoint says it all. i give him a 88/100. =D
later, miss mari came in and gave us a ss test, i'm so confident of the test! that makes me happy though i studied it last min. Lolz.
later, dai lao shi came in. i forgot to bring my chinese tb. how blur. so i shared with lee wei joe. he's s kind soul today. thanks wei joe.
the main event of the day: sc investiture. it was totally screwed up. really. ok i shall recount WHAT happened. i wore my stockings, tie and comb my hair properly, wore my court shoes and rushed to the SC room. wore my blazer, sort out the letters for the 'STUDENT COUNCIL INVESTITURE' thing. i heard a lot of ppl saying' sec 3 SCs pls move to the gate to usher the guests!' i felt relieved that at least they remembered that we have to do that. so i just continued with my job and rushed to the vincent hall to give them and aufar and edwin said that they are forgoing it. FINE. later, i went back to the school and did some things which i forgot. till 1.10, i went back the the hall all sweating like crazy. there were a lot of last min settlings. it was very bad. so we walked out with edwin beside me. i was like 'OMG, so pai seh!!!' when the 2004 exco walked out. so i walked and walked, it seemed like forever. i sat down and 'PHEW-ed'. ok, chang hong said his speech, later aufar. later aufar got his badge, charline got it, and i got it and erwin and so on so forth. we bowed and went back to our seat.
OMG!!!no1:the sec 2 rep came up and bro e gave her one badge instead of the entire tray. this happened to the sec3 Scs. obviously they forgot about the sec 4. OMG!!!!!!!!
OMG!!!no2: the token of appreciation was supposed to be given to bro e. EDWIN LEFT THE BLOODY PRESENT IN THE BLOODY ROOM!!!!!!!!!!!! it was bloody left lying in the dark warm room!!!!
OMG!!!no.3: the MC was like 'HUH????' they did not know how to react!!! thatnk to andrea it was all over. Thank you andrea!!! you saved us!
OMG!!!no.4: the curtain suddenly closed!!!!! WHAT BLOODY HAPPENED???? we were supposed to go down before the curtain closed!! where was the signal by the MC??? there was nothing!! omg omg omg.
we went down the stage and there was a performance by the scouts la. it was pretty good. but i dunno why she also had something to say about it. haiz.
after everything, edwin and i were like 'SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!! HOW?????!!!!!!!!!!!' i can see that he's near to tears. i was so scared. the perssure was too much to bear. we had lots of explaining to do. we stayed around the hall. checking the surrounding and picked up rubbish. mr tan told us to throw it on the floor and let 3/4 pick up. i felt so bad.
later we left for the reception. i felt like a waitress there. but it's fun serving the food and drinks. it still did not cheer me up. i finally ate and they said that they are going to take a picture. oh well. so i went. i could see that miss lee was unhappy. i'm so sorry. haiz. so we took the photo and there was a a maths ws for me. 2003 mid yr set by mr wong. i was like 'wadeva'. ok, it's totally not related to the event. later we had a de-breif by mr tok and miss lee. as always. vivian and mrs norman were like laughing non-stop. the de-breif was very pressurising for me and edwin and aufar. there are a lot for us to learn from those hip-cups.
later, vivien and amanda talked to me, aufar and edwin about the mistakes that we made. i counted, there were 8.
1. we weren't prepared
2. the token of appreciation
3. the dance
4. the dancer's costume
5. the level rep thing
6. the guests
7. the slow reaction that we had
8. don't that that whatever you do will go smoothly
she was so scary. she said 'i don't think that we had a dance last yr. the way that they dressed was very off for the investiture. it's a formal event. and brother was sitting right infront of the stage. i saw a lot of things which i wasn't supposed to have seen.' i felt so OMG. but wouldn't it be a lil weird if we invited out guest here to see us taking ouver the old batch? they it's be only for a lil while wad. but i agree that it had nothing to do with the investiture. but what to do? we asked the SCs, and nothing was done at all. NOTHING!! haiz. i also agree that their dressing is a lil off. maybe a lot of us think that it's okay, but it's not. after all, bro.e is the GOH. should have put more thinking into it.
it's over finally. we did not end it well. but this is something that we can learn from. if edwin is reading this, relax and chill. i think that you should not do things on your own. miss lee was right. one can't function properly like this. learn fromt this and go on. =)
later, alvin and conan and erwin and i went to beauty world to have mac. we bitched a lot there. thanks for bitching with me. =D
