yesterday was the last aes cross counrty i'd run. i made sure i did my best and i did it. i'm glad that i got what i aimed for and enjoyed the race throughly. the track team started warm up at about 7.20. then we went down to where everyone was at about 7.40. i assembled with the class and started streching and applying counterpain everywhere. haha.. all of us had fun with the counterpain. lol, i was super nervous and queasy inside. so some of us went to the back of the tents and did some tai chi moves. lol... it was so funny!!!!!!!! ahahaha.. all of us laughed like crazy. after tai chi, the sec 4 and 5 girls started our race. lol, vanessa and i were crapping as we walked. mr joseph tan was like 'wan wen must get 1st'. omg. no way man. mr jerome tan led us to do some streching and told us to arrange ourselves and mrs wee started the race with the air horn.
i stated running with patricia and amalina in front of me. i kept up with pat. about 5 mins, i was 2nd and pat was infront of me. i tried to keep up with her and maintained my pace. after running for about 3 more mins, i saw siew mai. she said ' i run with you i run with you!!!!!!!!!' i was like 'NO!!!!!!!!!!' omg. she is SO irritating!!!!!!!!! argh!!! okay, back to the race, after running up the slope, i was exhausted. that was when ren feng overtook me. she's good, i must admit. i tried to keep up with her and continued running. at the turning into the last stretch, i picked up my pace and went all out. still couldn't catch up with ren feng. so i got 3rd.
i drank so much water after the race i felt like puking. argh. after the prize presentation for the individuals, was the team relay. lol, didn't expect 4/1 girls to get it at all as we were not very strong. thanks to elvany who help to run or we wouldn't get it. need to give vanessa, charline and elvany a big thank you for giving their best! hahaha..
the boys were amazing too. tho they did not get the top 3, but they still got 1st for the team relay. very happy for them!! well done 4/1!! i love you!!! hahahahah
after everything, caryn went to my house. i wanted to bathe before going to town. lol. i don't want to smell like dog poo in town. we went to town and had lunch there. i was so freaking hungry i could eat an elephant. we went to hans. then started shopping. haha.. i bought a nike tee, a skirt, 2 earings, 2 pair of pointy shoes, a roxy slippers, a pinky ring and some barang barang..
i was truely happy. =D
